Games Club
- Description: An inclusive club for gamers of all kinds! Video games, board games, card games — you name it, we have the space!
- Meeting time(s): Thursdays after school in the library from 2:15 to 4:15pm.

Newspaper Club
- Description:
- Meeting time(s): Day 1 at lunch time in room 215

Math League
- Description: Math League is open to any student who has an interest in the subject of Mathematics.
- Meeting time(s): Two competitions a year. Occasionally meets at lunch time to prepare for competitions.

Coming Together Club
- Description: Bringing students together through culture.
- Meeting time(s): Every day at lunch in room 227 except day 6, which takes place at lunch in the Art room

Every Mind Matters
- Description: A student-voice mental health group that provides a mindful space to meet and plan activities for school-wide mental health initiative.
- Meeting time(s): Day 5 at lunch in room 109B

Library Helpers
- Description: Offers students the opportunity to assist in the daily operations of the school library. Club members help organize and shelve books, assist with check-ins and check-outs, and ensure the library remains an inviting and well-maintained space for all students. It is a great opportunity for students to develop organizational and leadership skills while contributing to the smooth running of the library.

Concert Choir
- Description: Open to all students with a passion for singing, regardless of prior experience or ability.
- Meeting time(s): Day 1 Period 1 and Fridays during the second half of lunch

Band
- Description: The MDJH band program offers students, with playing experience, the opportunity to play in an instrumental ensemble. Options include string orchestra, concert band, and jazz band.

Best Buddies
- Description: A friendship club to foster friendships between students with exceptionalities and those without.

Talking Circle:
- Description: A sacred Indigenous-based tradition that brings people together providing participants the opportunity to express thoughts and feelings in a safe and respectable space with complete acceptance.

Eco Schools Environmental Committee
- Description: MDJH is currently a Gold certified Eco School.

- Description: The Student Council encourages student voice in school decisions and promotes school spirit. Student Council helps with the planning and organization of events throughout the year.
