We are collecting Coats for Kids at MDJH. We are asking students to bring along any previously used coats or snow pants to the conference room. Please include the student name with the item as there will be draws for prizes. This will be ongoing until Thursday, November 5th.

There is an upcoming PD day on Monday, November 16th (Day 5). There will be no classes for students on that day.

Due to the changing weather, Ultimate Frisbee practices and games are now concluded until the Spring. Further updates will be posted to the school website as they happen.

The Public Health Program at Eastern Health is offering flu vaccine in school to students in Grades 4 to 12. Flu vaccine consent forms were sent home with students today. These forms must be completed in full, signed by a parent or legal guardian and returned to school as soon as possible if you wish to have the student receive a free flu vaccine at school. Additional information is available on the Eastern Health’s Flu web page.

Grade 7 boys volleyball tryouts will begin on Monday, November 2nd from 4:30 to 6:00pm.

Last Friday was Jamarama at MDJH, and Staff and Students got into the spirit by bringing in a Loonie or a Twonie to donate. All proceeds went to the Janeway Children’s Hospital.
