Bus Change – Route 12
There has been a change to bus route 12. Changes will take effect as of the morning of October 6, 2021. Please view your student’s updated transportation information in their BusPlanner Web Parent Portal account.
The route change is as follows:
Route 17-138A-12: Stop order in the afternoon run has been reversed. Stops are now run in the same order for AM and PM. Please be advised that this will change the afternoon drop off time for some students.
REMINDER: Bring your Mask!
As per the CMO mandate, all students and staff MUST wear masks on the bus travelling to and from school and while in school.
We are now passing out over 100 masks a day and we can not continue to do so. Please ensure that the child(ren) living in your household has a mask and a spare as the masks seem to get lost during lunch.
Thank you for your anticipated help.
Walk for Breakfast
Today is the TD Province Wide Virtual Walk for Breakfast.
$1.00 is a breakfast for a child.

Be sure to select MDJH! Thank you so much to our parent volunteers and school community! Your support is greatly appreciated!
Social Media Challenges
We are writing to make you aware of some disturbing social media challenges that have gained some recent attention. You may have heard of a trend which encourages young people to engage in a number of inappropriate and potentially criminal activities, such as destroying community/public property, inappropriately touching others, and other activities which could seriously impact the safety of individuals in our school community. One such challenge encourages students to “smack a staff member on the backside”.
Students should be aware that having any such physical contact will not be tolerated. Such behaviour constitutes assault and would be reported to law enforcement for investigation. Further to that, such behaviour, if validated, would result in serious discipline from the school.
Please take the time to discuss appropriate behaviour with your child – whether that behaviour is online or in person – so they are aware of the risks and potential consequences.
Thank you for your assistance and understanding.
No Cafeteria Service – Wed., Oct. 6
Due to unforeseen circumstances, there will be NO Cafeteria services tomorrow – Wednesday Oct. 6. ALL online orders will be credited back to parent/ guardian accounts. Students are encouraged to bring a packed lunch if they are not going out. Thank you for your understanding.
