Congratulations go out to Kim Todd and her team at guide to the good and thegreenrock.ca, for being awarded a Golden Broom Award for 2018 from the City of St. John’s. One of their many programs is In Its Place, a waste diversion program in partnership with MDJH, Kids Eat Smart Foundation, Clean St. John’s, Island Compost, City of St. John’s, St. John’s Farmers Market, and the Wellness Coalition Avalon East. This composting program during our Breakfast Club Program helps to emphasize the part we can all play in taking care of the environment.
