There has been discussion in recent months about city residents finding items of concern, such as used needles, both in public places and on school grounds. As you know, such items may pose a risk to individuals who come in contact with them. Please find attached three posters created by the regional health authorities; one informs students not to touch such items if found, another addresses students in French, and the third poster instructs adults on the proper way to dispose of such items if necessary.

Here at MDJH, we aim to keep our school community informed and updated about the different activities and programs we offer here at our school. Figuring out school busing can be a challenge at the start of the school year. With this in mind, the NLESD school district has a webpage dedicated to providing information to parents, guardians, and students. A big welcome to all our new and returning students! Our doors will open on Wednesday morning (September 6th) at 7:45 am, with the homeroom bell at 8:05 am.
Grade 7 students will proceed to the cafeteria for a brief assembly and sorting into home rooms. Grade 8 and 9 students will find their home rooms from posted lists, and will head to their assigned rooms.
The day will conclude at the regular time, and students are advised to pack a lunch in case the cafeteria service is not available.
