Gentle Reminders
Terry Fox Walk – Thursday, September 25th
MDJH will be once again participating in the Terry Fox Walk on Thursday, September 25th.Â
You can click on the attached link to donate – https://schools.terryfox.ca/102114.
Whichever homeroom raises the most money will also be awarded a class pizza party!
Parking Lot Reminders
Hello MDJH Parents:
Please refrain from driving around the back of the building at morning drop off and evening pick up.
Our Alternate Transportation vehicles need full access to this pathway at all times.
It is also important to note that vehicles are never permitted to turn right at the crosswalk by our bus lanes to pick up or drop off students.
Our students including staff are on patrol there monitoring bus lanes and traffic and we do not wish an accident to occur.
We appreciate your support.
Chartwells EATS
A new school year brings new beginnings, and one new beginning for us this year is our food services. With all new beginnings, change brings questions, and we want to take this opportunity to highlight some key components for lunches next week and beyond so that everyone who requires a lunch will receive one:
Next Week (week of Monday September 8 to Monday September 12):
There are two options available for next week:
- Order in advance via the new ordering platform: The ordering window for this week only has been extended until end of day Sunday on the new Chartwells Eats ordering platform. If you would like to order a lunch for your child, please use the Chartwells Eats platform. Note: you will need to create a new account. The link to the website is: https://www.chartwellsk12.ca/
- Important: Going forward, all meals will be purchased in advance via the online platform
- If you are unable to order before the Sunday cut off, families should send along a packed lunch for students
Coming Soon:
The Pay What You Can program will be coming in October. Additional communication will follow at a later date to provide updates on the ordering process as we get closer.
