Europe Trip 2024

Our school is planning a trip to Europe (Switzerland and Italy) over Easter break, 2024. We will visit:

  • Zurich and Lucerne in Switzerland
  • Venice, Florence and Rome in Italy

The dates are March 28 – April 6, 2024. The current price of $4397 is based on an early enrollment incentive. This will be a combined trip with some other schools in the district and there will be a cap on how many students can participate from each school.

This trip is for our current grade 8 and 9 students who will be grade 9 and level 1 students in 2024. This trip is not for current grade 7 students.

There will be a parent/student information session on Thursday, February 9, at 7pm in the school library. Further travel details (itinerary, payment, and registration through Explorica) will be available at the meeting and then on the school website. If you are interested in registering your child for this trip, priority will be given to those that attend the meeting on Feb 9.

Registration will be open online through Explorica after the meeting on a first-come, first-served basis. Ms. Jodi Sauvé (jodisauve@nlesd.ca) is the teacher sponsor from MDJH. Mr. Rick Engram (richardengram@nlesd.ca), the tour director from Brother Rice, will attend the meeting and answer any questions you may have. The travel brochure and code will be posted on the school website after the meeting.
