Dear Parent/Caregiver,
Macdonald Drive Junior High will commence exams on Wednesday, June 17th, 2015. Common practice with many students is to come into school to write one’s exam and then leave upon conclusion of writing. Students who elect to do this must have parental/caregiver permission submitted to the homeroom teacher. Please be advised that bus routes and schedules remain the same – AM pick up and PM drop off same routine. There is no lunch hour busing. Hence, should a student write in the PM or finish in the AM and have permission to go home, they will have to make alternate travel arrangements getting to or from MDJH. Students who elect to come to school when not doing an exam will be directed to study hall (cafeteria). All students are reminded that their last day is Thursday, June 25th (8:30 – 12:30). It will encompass a student breakfast, grade level assemblies, and a general student assembly. Major awards will be given out at this last assembly. Students will then receive report cards with dismissal at 12:30 PM for the summer break. Buses will be here at this time. Please detach, fill out the permission form below, and return to the office.
