Pi Day Update

Thank you to everyone who has offered to donate cakes/pies for our Pi Day cake auction on Friday afternoon. Pies can be dropped off at the school from 6-9 on Thursday evening, March 12 or Friday morning March 13, by 9 am.

We are also still collecting prizes for our prize draw. These can vary, and can include anything that would appeal to a junior high student (gift cards of $5 or more for various restaurants, food vouchers, swag, etc) If you or your employer can donate a prize (or money to purchase prizes) please email Laura Clemens-Brenton (lauraclemensbrenton@nlesd.ca)

Thank you all for your continued support in our Pi Week endeavours!

Vote for MDJH Student Finalist for Hockey Canada Mask Design

Lauryn C., a Grade 8 student here at MDJH, is a finalist in a design a mask contest for Hockey Canada’s women’s team! We only have until Sunday to vote. This is extra special to her because she won the World Junior design a mask contest in 2017. She would be thrilled to say she had the opportunity to design both the men’s and women’s goalie masks for Hockey Canada. Thank you in advance for your support!
