The 2017 final exam schedule is here. The exams run from Wednesday, June 14th to Friday, June 16th. Please note that Monday, June 12th and Tuesday, June 13th will have regular classes .

There are some changes to the exam formats this year. Please read the Regulations that follow the schedule below. Also, the buses will be running at the regular times during the exam period. There will be no additional bus runs.

Have an old cel phone cluttering up your desk drawer? Have an iPod or MP3 player that’s just collecting dust? Cracked screen on your old Nintendo? Bring in your old or unwanted hand-held electronic devices to be recycled and you could win a gift card!

Drop off your devices to the drop box in the office and you’ll be entered for a chance to win a gift card! Every item donated earns you a chance to win! Help MDJH to recycle your old eWaste items, and you could be helping yourself to a prize!

Make sure you fill out your entry form when you bring in your device!

Prize will be drawn on Friday, May 26th!

 

There will be a Profesional Development Day for teachers on Friday, May 19th. There will be no classes for students on that day as teachers continue work on School Development.

Classes will resume on Tuesday, May 23rd (following the Victoria Day holiday), when it will be Day 7 on the schedule.

This week, we are running a Breakfast Blitz to help support our Kids Eat Smart Breakfast Program! All donations will go towards helping to provide a healthy breakfast for our students here at MDJH. To see what you can donate, please check out the list below:

Our MDJH School Leaving Carnival will be happening on May 25th from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm for our Grade 9 students. If you have not already returned your permission form and your $20.00 fee, please do so as soon as possible. If you need to print out a new form, click here to view one!

Through the generosity of Johnson Inc, once again this year Memorial University will be accepting applications for the Johnson Horizon scholarship.  This is a prestigious program that rewards engaged student leaders with leadership learning opportunities.  50 awards will be offered to Grade 9 students across the province valued at $1200 – $200 to be received in August of this year and $1000 to be applied to tuition upon entry to Memorial University.  One student per school can be nominated.  Applications are available at the main office, at the Guidance offices, or by clicking here for a PDF copy.

Applications are due Friday, April 13th.
