Remembrance Day Ceremony

We had a truly inspiring Remembrance Day Ceremony today here at MDJH. Congratulations go out to all the staff and students who worked so hard to make it so successful.

Standing as the Colour Party makes their entrance. Pictured here is our Veteran of Honour, Mr. Rod Deon, who served in the Canadian Navy during WWII.

The MDJH Teacher Band plays “Stand By Me.”

The MDJH Choir under the direction of Ms. Peddle sing “Imagine”

Homeroom representatives pin poppies to the MDJH Remembrance Wreath, under the direction of Mr. Lawton.

Mr. Walsh tells of his visit to the beaches of Normandy with mr. Deon as part of the 75th Anniversary of D-Day, back this past June.
